With a new dark gum outsole, this Nike Air Jordan 1 Low 'Black White Dark Gum' (SKU: HV5968-001) sneaker has some skate-inspired elements, but there are also some noteworthy extras.  The AJ1's upper construction is its strongest point; it combines smooth leather that has been stitched in black with sturdy ballistic nylon that is used on the tongue and mid-panel for increased durability.  Lastly, when flash is applied, the Swoosh emblem, which seems to have its own textile design, glows brightly.  The retro classic gains additional depth from this surprise reflection strike.
